Converting .bin to .iso in ubuntu

A friend of mine asked me this question a while ago and I thought that I might as well share it on my blog.

To convert a set of bin/cue files to an ISO9660 file, you must first install the program bchunk either in the Ubuntu software center or from a terminal, like this:

sudo apt-get install bchunk

Next, you must start a terminal and go to the directory where your bin/cue files are stored, and then convert it, like so:

cd /path/to/bin/cue/files/
bchunk image.bin image.cue /path/to/resulting/file.iso

Easy!
