Today I bought a new all-in-one printer, since the old one was getting ready to be retired. The new printer is great. It works out of the box in xubuntu 8.10 (both printing and scanning), so this is a printer I really recommend to everyone looking for a linux friendly all-in-one printer.
By the way, apparently the printer DO NOT work out of the box on Windows.
