Sooooo.. The dev-team behind chromium released a running linux client. That’s neat. Unfortunately a lot of people have been confused over this already – they think that Google’s Chrome browser is running on linux, which is not the case.
Anyways, I wanted to test the browser, just for fun. It just works.
It gets 100/100 on the acid3 test, but also get a “linktest failed” – apparently this have something to do with the way the chromium engine checks for already visited links.
On the other hand, of all the browsers I’ve tested at Michal Zalewski‘s Browser DOM access checker 1.01, it is the browser with the least failed tests – only 12.
Of course there are some minor glitches, but what can you expect for an Alpha release?
