I’ve recently bought a LP by Slåbrock Band called Lev stærkt – dø tung (A pun on the danish version of Live fast – Die young).
I’ve then bought the Lenco Turntable from the local shop Harald Nyborg and took it home.
I plugged it into my Linux box and it just worked. No compiling modules, no configurating anything. Wow.
The audio chip is identified by lsusb as:
ID 08bb:2900 Texas Instruments Japan PCM2900 Audio Codec
I can definitely recommend this product, as the sound quality is very good, it can be connected to a normal amplifier, and in the manual they describe using audacity for the recording/processing of recorded LP’s and the software is included on the accompanying CD.
